We are a remote and geographically distributed team. This means we are flexible, agile and capable of collaborating virtually to service clients throughout Australia. 

Coming from diverse backgrounds, each of our team members brings a unique suite of skills and experience. Together, we combine our strengths with a shared passion for the built environment and a strong commitment to fostering rewarding partnerships with our clients.

    Having begun her career at global architecture practice Woods Bagot, Alicia has 17 years of experience in creating effective communications for the design and built environment industries. Applying her enquiring mind and attention to detail, she has been instrumental in assisting clients to secure significant projects, delivering successful tender responses and awards submissions, developing tailored branding for various retail and commercial projects as well as devising and implementing marketing strategies.

    Alicia is known for her human-centred approach to communications, her affinity for detailed research and knowledge of market trends, and her adaptability across a variety of business environments. She is best placed in conversations with decision makers, where she can guide informed, strategic investment in marketing and communications.

    Alicia lives and works by the ocean on Victoria’s idyllic Bellarine Peninsula, with her young family and faithful old dog Maggie.

    Sara is the unflappable design writer and strategist behind our submissions services. She’s constantly juggling multiple deadlines for diverse clients in a high-stakes role, but you’d never know it from her calm, can-do demeanor. Sara’s organised, energetic and astute. She understands the industry inside out and knows precisely which people, projects and details to combine for a compelling pitch.

    Sara studied architecture before switching to interior design and later completing an MBA. But she soon found her niche writing about design. She has spent over a decade working on tenders and award submissions across a broad range of sectors including education, health care, senior living, government, retail mixed-use, and urban design.

    Sara joined New Doors in 2021 as Submissions Specialist and now leads the submissions arm of the business.

    Sara believes that design has the power to improve people's lives. As Submissions Specialist, Sara sees herself as a translator who joins the dots between the valuable services her clients provide and their customers.

The self-motivated creative joins us from a freelance position, where she developed characterful branding for small businesses and start-ups in the lifestyle, food and beverage industry.

    Maysie contributes her keen eye for detail to her role as Visual Design Specialist, crafting branding and marketing materials, designing client websites as well as publication design.

    Meg is a qualified digital marketer with experience working in sales and marketing support roles for communications providers Telstra and Optus as well as a range of private businesses.

    Meg manages all things digital marketing from devising and implementing SEO strategies to preparing and scheduling social media content both organic and sponsored.

    She is also responsible for desktop research, monitoring and preparing reports on our clients’ website and social media performance.
